Coach Juma Finally Speaks Out
By, Jimmie Kairu

Coach Abdalla Juma maintains that the Club will never sacrifice their footballing principles declaring that it is the best approach to winning the league.

United superb passing game looked set to sweep all before them having won 5 out of six matches at home and drawing one against Red berets F.C while losing four away and drawing two leaving them at number 7 position with eighteen points

Juma claims that the losses were due to poor officiating by the referees which led to the club missing major points that would have ensured a good position in the league before the window period

Further more he states that he’s team is in a much better shape to take the league and that they will make it if the same will power an morale is going to be boosted, he added that it’s only the approach of the remaining matches before the first leg that will have to change the purpose and balancing of the team.

In his interview about the club performance he critically analyzed the tactical and technical view of the players, he stated that he’s defender and mid fielders were in good shape and were playing very well but the strikers are a bit green and need to be sharpened.

Despite failing to last the course in the game against Gor mahia, Juma firmly believes his men can take great credit from their efforts over the past three months.

"What we want to be the best in this country .I am convinced we are very, very close. That is why my purpose is to keep the team together and show I was right by the end of the year."

Asked if he was likely to bring in a new striker he was not hesitant to speak but was calm all the way, he said that the discussions are already on and that a new striker will also increase the competitive spirit of the boys.

He praised the Kenyan Premiere League saying that the whole organization structure of the league was far much better than the previous one run by K.F.F.

He added that the league has its own format and the competition is high due to the main prize and one is sure of it because the organizers are trustworthy.

In his comments about the National squad coach Abdalla Juma claimed that the Nyamwea group wants to destroy the future of Kenyan football. He briefed thikaunited.com that some of the Nyamwea group had been suspended and others expelled at Malindi in the presence of FIFA officials

He also stated that it would have been a terrible mistake to have the government intervene football issues because the football governing body would have banned Kenya just as hey banned Iraq

However, Coach Juma’s hunger for success burns as bright as ever and he cannot wait for the competition to commence. Asked what drives him he said "What drives me on is to win and if I had a choice I would not like a break though its good but I want to be at the top."
