Thika united contribution to the national under 20

Thika United Football Club has once again contributed towards making of the Under 20 national football team, which is set to face Sudan by the end of this month.
The squad which comprises of the veteran Stephen Waroro and Francis Mwangi whose out standing performance has propelled the team into greater heights and also has earned them recognition into being in the National youth squad.
Stephen Waroro, who came to the rescue in the match against Somalia ensuring that they sailed into the next level through an outstanding goal that made the team qualify into the second round through penalties, seemed pretty excited during the call up period for he was sure of his careers peak.
The under 20s have a heavy task ahead of them as they face Sudan a country whose playing skills are on a massive rise and the preparations here at home will ensure that the team will be on the spotlight.
The Head Coach Leonard Salleh is optimistic and has great visions for the teams as well. The call up has greatly influenced the team as preparations for the session to resume in two weeks kick off again.
