by Jimmie Kairu
Due to the under 20 National team who are to play Sudan on Sunday, the Thika United game has been brought forward to Saturday in the match against Agro – Chemical from Western Kenya.
The match is to kick – off at 4:00 pm and the hosts are already set for yet another round before the first leg is over.
Thika United which is proud to be a contributor to the Under 20 with Stephen Kiaritha Waroro and Francis Chege, is yet again ready to face Agro – Chemical this weekend.
Team Manager John Irungu has faith in the team that it will deliver, because of the ample training the team has had and also is confident of the job that coach Juma is doing to ensure that all conditions are set for the win.
On the other hand Mr. Irungu added that there has been some few changes in the team having Fredrick Onyango (uche) back in the line up after a period of time.
“Fredrick who plays as Defensive Mid-fielder or Central Mid-fielder is currently in the squad and training with the team but be rest assured hes ready for action” He added
He also notified thikaunited.com that Fredrick Kuria Githara (Striker), Dan Makachi Oduory (Mid Field) and Bernard Oling Ojwang ( Stopper ) have been laid off the team and any interested parties should contact him before talking to them.
They are good players and they are also experienced, we wish them well as they advance in there profession.
Surprisingly enough coach Juma has not included Anthony Maimnba in his strategy in the up coming games
