Coach Juma In Title Race As Thika United Host Mathare United Today

By Jimmie Kairu

Coach Abdalla Juma is optimistic and looking forward for a win as he hosts Mathare United today at the Thika Municipal Stadium.

The coach said that his boys are well prepared for the great match and calls all the supporters of football to come out in great numbers and witness football being made alive in by his club.

“I have faith in my boys that they are going to perform plus our training has enabled us to focus much more on winning the title” said Juma.

Asked if he was ready to play without Mathenge the coach responded quickly saying that the team has buoyantly learnt how to survive with veteran Ivan Maimba and I have great young key players who can control the mid field as well as the defense.

He is now working on capitalizing on his strikers more than any of the players and his laugh raises eyebrows speculating that it would be difficult for Kimanzi to sit at the bench.

Though he so looks forward to discipline Mathare United a question that raises a million eye brows is; why is there no player in the National Team Harambee Stars from Thika United? And the answer will be for the Home team to show that they deserve to be in the national team hence they have to work extra hard to show it.
