Thika united players have pledged 100/= each from their January salaries to
the victims of Tsunami disaster in S.E Asia the club itself has agreed to match
the pledge and double the funds contributed by the players.
In addition they will pledge 1000/= for each goal scored by the team in the
premier league this month.
Speaking on Saturday after the teams 2-1 friendly win against group leaders
Group B leaders ulinzi Mike Mwiuki said, while a small donation by the players
, it is significant from their salary, and they should be commended. they all
felt they wanted to give in some way to assist the poor victims of the Tsunami's
